There is a little corner of my house that just hasn't ever been very pretty. It's a little space between the bedroom and bathroom. So I decided to see how I can decorated it with the least amount of money possible.

Brigham's First Birthday

For Brig's First Birthday we did a Phineas and Ferb birthday party!! Got all the decor ideas from pinterest.

His cake though I did have to make up. I make it out of pound cake so that it was harder. Used a banana bread Pyrex as the mold. I do not like the taste of fondant so the beak and tail are just orange paper. The eyes I made out of a marshmallow cut in half with black licorice!!


Made the tissue balls out of gift tissue paper. I will have a tutorial on how to make those later.
Finally used clothes pins to hold the gift bags closed. I got all the print outs for free at an amazing website. They have many themes, I will be using them for many birthdays to come.
